Structure & Hierarchy
UNSPSC uses a hierarchical 8-digit code structure divided into four levels:
- Segment: First 2 digits (e.g. 43 - Information Technology Broadcasting and Telecommunications)
- Family: Next 2 digits (e.g. 43.21 - Computer Equipment and Accessories)
- Class: Next 2 digits (e.g. 43.21.16 - Computer accessories)
